Meet Our Staff

Keith Glasgow

Senior Pastor

Keith was brought up in a godly Christian home in Australia. At age 20 he moved to New Zealand and attended a progressive evangelical church in Auckland where he gave his life to the Lord. He met Marg and they married in 1971.

Keith had a burning desire to serve the Lord in evangelism and Bible teaching, so after completing Bible College training he was commissioned to serve the Lord as an itinerant evangelist. He founded an evangelistic ministry “This Is Life Ministries” and was heavily involved for many years in joint church missions, Bible teaching, vacation outreaches and overseas short term mission trips. Once their daughters Rebecca and Kim had gone to University, God led Keith and Marg into a more settled pastoral ministry in Australia. He served as Senior Pastor for ten years at Canterbury Gardens Community Church on the outer eastern rim of Melbourne, followed by five years at Edge Church in East Doncaster. God then led them to take up the role as pastor at Carmel Friends Church.

One of God’s gifts to Keith is the ability to write. God has enabled him to publish and distribute a number of books, training manuals, courses and gospel leaflets. Some of these are now available in pdf format on his website: keithglasgow.com
