Purity is as much an evidence of our new identity as love. The transformation requires an intentional choice that flows from a renewed mind.
We are to live worthy of our calling, and so, as being part of God’s new community, the first, important outcome is to live and serve together in unity.
Paul calls us to pray for the grace and power needed to live out our new identity (which is the subject of his teaching in chapters 4-6.)
The new community that we are a part of (the Church) is a living organism – the Body of Christ
